I hold a B.A.A. from Ryerson University in Apparel Design with a textile design minor. I have exhibited as a fibre artist and hosted workshops, apprenticed as a silkscreened textile printer, worked as a costume designer in theatre and television settings, designed and manufactured soft props for a children's museum, and aside from a decade where work as a Visual Effects artist in Hollywood completely took over my life, I've been sewing and studying fibre arts for as long as I can remember. My favorite shirt belonged to a farmer in the 1960s. I found it in a deserted shed and lovingly mend it on a regular basis.
